Climb aboard for a hands-on family adventure at our working Maine oyster farm!

We’ll start by suiting up in authentic Maine lobsterman gear—totally optional, but highly recommended for photos! Then we’ll head out on the water to explore the world of oyster farming and lobstering.

Get a firsthand look at how we raise our oysters from tiny seed to harvest size, learn what it takes to grow oysters along the Maine coast, and try your hand at shucking and slurping fresh Maine oysters straight from the source.

Then it’s time to haul our lobster traps and see what’s crawled inside! We’ll get an up-close look at our catch while learning about Maine’s iconic lobster fishery and the creatures that call Casco Bay home.

How many people can come on the trip?

The maximum number of passengers you can have in your group is 6.

What should I wear?

Bring an extra layer or windbreaker, as it can be much colder when the boat is moving on the ocean than on land.

Sunglasses, sunscreen, and closed-toed shoes are also recommended (no flip-flops). We have plenty of traditional fishing overalls in all sizes available for guests to borrow if you want a truly authentic experience!

Is this a family friendly trip?

Yes! This charter is available for people of all ages

Can I eat some oysters on this trip?

Absolutely! We will end our trip at the floating farm where you can taste our oysters fresh out of the water.

Are dogs allowed on the this charter

Although we absolutely love dogs, we kindly ask that you leave your pups out of this activity for their safety. We offer dog-friendly Oyster Farm Tours and Sunset Cruises.

Will I get seasick?

The majority of this trip is conducted in a quiet cove, away from the open ocean. While the seas are not always completely calm, we rarely have issues with people getting motion sick during this type of activity.

Can I bring food and alcohol on the trip?

Certainly! Feel free to bring your favorite drinks and snacks on board. Just remember to drink responsibly and be mindful of others.

Our Meeting Place

We will meet 5 mins before the start time of your trip in the parking lot beside our facility called 'The Store' (see picture), located on your right hand side as you drive down the hill on Wallace Circle.

If you get lost, ask any of the locals in the area.
