I am a Registered Maine Guide and hold a Master Captain's License with the United States Coast Guard. I also work for the Basin Oyster Project teaching K-12 groups about our shellfish reef regeneration program.
With a lifelong passion for chasing stripers and crabs around the Chesapeake Bay and Gulf of Maine, I am a great choice for guiding beginner and intermediate anglers for fishing charters, and leading oyster farm tours and other aquaculture adventures around the rugged islands and shorelines of Maine.
You’ll be cruising on a 21’ Maritime boat, powered by a 2021 115 HP Yamaha engine that will make sure you reach your destination safely. The boat also features navigational electronics, a wireless trolling motor, a live bait tank, and a cooler.
Just like her namesake, Miss Pearce is tough, reliable, beautiful, and always
ready for an adventure!
West Point is a community of generational fishermen, those "from away," and visiting vacationers who want to live, work and play together in this beautiful part of the coast.
In the heart of the village is "The Store." Originally a general store, it has been converted over the years into a marine research lab, oyster distribution facility, and charter boat hub.
Be sure to stop by, grab a coffee and shuck some oysters with the old (and young) salts from the village.
We will meet 5 mins before the start time in the small parking lot beside our facility called 'The Store' at 47 Wallace Circle (on your right as you go down the hill).
The area does not have great cell signal, but the WIFI network at the facility is 'Basecamp', the password is boomshuckalucka
